Denver--(// BUSINESS WIRE //)--Quiznos, one of the nation's premier quick service restaurant chains and pioneer of the toasted sandwich, today announced that the second-annual Hall of Fame Honor for 2008 has been awarded to franchise owner Randy Reed of Lubbock, TX. Also known as the Franchise Owner of the Year award, the Hall of Fame honor is given each year to the Quiznos franchise owner who best represents and exemplifies the Quiznos brand.

This year marks ten years for Reed as a Quiznos franchise owner. He currently owns four Quiznos restaurants in Lubbock, TX, and one in both Louisiana and Arkansas. His fifth restaurant in Lubbock is currently under construction. The restaurants are managed with support from Reed's business partners Casey Lindsey, Gary Carr and Marty Smith.
Reed has shown a history of continued dedication to drive the Quiznos brand. Reed has served on several Quiznos advisory councils and has continually made significant contributions focused on positively impacting the brand and not just his own stores. Reed believes the fastest way to grow a business is to keep your customers continually satisfied. In doing so, his sales have consistently outpaced the national average in the chain.
"I have been in the restaurant business one way or another since I was a teenager," said Reed. "After working in and owning other concepts, I came to Quiznos because I loved the food. I also saw great opportunity for franchise owners as this concept is something that not everybody up and down the street can do well. Even when one of our stores has faced difficulties, we've always been able to work through it and come out ahead. I'm very proud of the Quiznos brand and the success our stores have had."
