Bark Busters Celebrates Valentine's Day and St. Patrick's Day with "Lucky in Love" Photo Competition

Participants Can Win a $500 Donation to SPCA International or a Local Animal-Related Charity and a $100 Bark Busters Gift Bag

February 11, 2009 // Franchising.com // Englewood, CO, – To celebrate the festive affairs of Valentine's Day and St. Patrick's Day, Bark Busters, the world's largest dog training company, invites dog owners and their canine friends to "capture the moment" by participating in the Lucky in Love photo competition at BarkBusters.com. Owners can honor their furry friends by showing how lucky they are to have them. Participants can submit descriptions and photos with their favorite companions or a photo of just their dog. Judges will select finalists, and the winners will be determined by real-time public votes online. The winners will be announced on April 15, 2009. Participants can win cash and prizes for themselves, their canine companions, and an animal-related charity of their choice. Visit BarkBusters.com for more details.

"The love between owners and their dogs is priceless" said Liam Crowe, CEO and master dog behavioral therapist at Bark Busters USA. "What better way to celebrate the love you have for your dog than with a photo competition that will benefit not only the participants but also a worthy charity dedicated to helping our four-legged friends?"

Bark Busters, the world leader in natural home dog training, kicked off its Lucky in Love photo competition on February 10, 2009, and will accept entries at BarkBusters.com through March 23. Entries must include a digital image and a brief description. Five finalists will be determined by a panel of judges on March 23 and posted on BarkBusters.com from March 24 through April 14. During this time, the public can vote on its favorite entry. Winners will be announced and posted online on April 15, 2009. The participant whose entry receives the highest number of public votes will receive a $100 Bark Busters gift bag and $500 donation in his or her name to SPCA International or another animal-related charity of his or her choice. Second- and third-place winners will also receive Bark Busters gift bags.

"We're looking for the cutest and most creative submissions. With the real-time vote tally available online for all to see, we anticipate a lively competition," added Crowe. "This is all part of our mission to enhance the human-canine bond and to support charities that help to prevent the maltreatment and euthanasia of companion animals."
