Globally inspired noodle restaurant hosts fundraiser for West Potomac High School
March 24, 2009 // Franchising.com // Alexandria, VA. — Noodles & Company, the quick-casual, globally inspired noodle restaurant that serves a balanced menu of freshly sautéed Asian, Mediterranean and American cuisine, will open its second Alexandria restaurant and 13th location in Virginia on Friday, April 3 at 11 a.m. The restaurant is located at 7702 Richmond Highway in Mt. Vernon Plaza.
As part of its grand opening celebration, Noodles & Company will host a pre-opening fundraiser on Thursday, April 2 to benefit West Potomac High School (www.fcps.edu/WestPotomacHS). West Potomac High School's mission is to educate students for lifelong productive participation in a democratic society.
From 5 to 8 p.m., 100 percent of sales will be used to support two major West Potomac High School projects: an instructional Leadership Conference program and a beautification project for the school.
