VANCOUVER, BC, July 27, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Despite the popularity of DVD kiosks, consumers have taken to Facebook, Twitter, and the blogosphere to list their most common complaints. Consumers have expressed frustrations towards long line-ups, slow selection process, poor customer service, and not being able to see inside the machine. That's why DVDNow Kiosks, Inc. is providing clear solutions.
Every DVDNow kiosk has a clear glass panel in the front, which allows consumers to directly view the available selections. Since consumers can immediately tell how many DVDs are in the machine and which titles are available, the selection process occurs faster and line-ups are significantly reduced.
In addition to showing customers the DVDs upfront, the 250 Touch model of kiosk is equipped with both a 15-inch LCD screen for browsing through selections, as well as a large, high-definition, flat panel television which plays previews for many new-release movies.
"The problem with other kiosks is that you may hope that a particular movie is available, but you have to wait in line in order to find out. Kiosk rentals are driven in large part by convenience, and if you have to wait in a long line to rent or return a movie the appeal starts to diminish," says Scott McInnes, CEO, DVDNow Kiosks, Inc. "Speeding up the average transaction time has allowed us to introduce additional features, such as viewing movie trailers, that are very popular with movie renters."
