Gamer Doc Franchise Now Open in Raleigh, North Carolina; Coming Soon to New Jersey and Michigan

The first Gamer Doc store in Raleigh, North Carolina recently opened for business, and franchises have been sold in Cherry Hill, New Jersey and Grand Rapids, Michigan, which are scheduled to open later this fall.

"The Raleigh and Cherry Hill stores further extend our footprint on the East Coast, and the Grand Rapids store will be our first in the Midwest, which is very exciting," said Jim Belanger, president of Gamer Doc. "Despite the tough economy, our franchisees recognize that the video game industry is a bright spot in retail. Although there's been weakness in new game and consoles sales, cash-conscious consumers are spending money on game rentals, used games and console repairs, and Gamer Doc is the only video game retailer that offers all of those services."

In addition to the Raleigh store, there are Gamer Docs open in Bear, Delaware; Burlington, Ontario; Highland Park, California; Miami, Florida; and Springfield, Pennsylvania.

Gamer Doc features Xbox® 360, PlayStation® and Wii® Gamer Centers, making it easy to find games, consoles and accessories for each platform. Customers can buy, rent, sell, play, pick-up, pre-order or trade-in a game, or drop a disc or console off for repair. HD flat-panel monitors and cables are also available, and the knowledgeable staff is happy to show customers how to hook-up their systems, share tips on how to improve their scores, try out new games, and answer any questions they might have.
