Leading UV therapy and spa service franchise premiers new international spokesmodel search
NEW ORLEANS—Planet Beach, the recognized leader in UV therapy and spa services, is calling for fabulous and unique women ages 35 and up to participate in the first ever Ms. Planet Beach Gen X competition to be held in cyberspace.
The Ms. Planet Beach Gen X Spokesmodel Search is an online competition where Web site visitors can vote for their favorite Ms. Planet Beach Gen X contestant by viewing posted profiles and pictures. The three contestants with the most votes will receive a trip to New Orleans for a three day stay at the Ritz Carlton New Orleans to participate in the Ms. Planet Beach International Pageant event and modeling photo shoot.
The 2007 Ms. Planet Beach Gen-X Spokesmodel Search winner will be announced at the International Pageant November 7, 2007 and receives a $12,000 contract, a waived Planet Beach franchise license valued at $30,000 and an additional photo shoot to appear in Planet Beach printed and Web site materials.
"Ms. Planet Beach Gen X is very representative of what Planet Beach as a company stands for," CEO Steve Smith said. The Ms. Planet Beach Gen X Spokesmodel Search was created in response to the Ms. Planet Beach International pageant, which is a competition for women ages 18-35. The Ms. Planet Beach pageant serves as one of many Planet Beach Franchising Corporation's charitable endeavors. A portion of the proceeds from the event supports the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and in 2007, proceeds were given to support Hurricane Katrina victims through the New Orleans Area Habitat for Humanity.
