SARASOTA, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Clockwork Home Services, Inc. (Clockwork), a leading provider of home services, today announced its promotion of David Bloom to Vice President of Operations. Bloom, formerly the company's Vice President for Franchise Sales, will oversee Clockwork's retail centers on the West Coast, managing revenues of approximately $40 million.
"David has made invaluable contributions to Clockwork's franchise growth, leading our sales team to achieve the milestone of bringing the total number of franchises to 400 by early 2008," said Rebecca Cassel, Clockwork's Group President of Consumer Services. David Bloom is a recognized veteran in franchise management and sales with more than 16 years of experience and leadership in the industry. Bloom began his career in the franchise industry in 1992 as an early pioneer in the Quiznos Sub franchise, where he was a multi-unit owner and area developer for the chain. He was instrumental in building one of the franchise's most successful sales regions in the country and was responsible for overseeing the introduction of 125 chain restaurants across three states.
In 2001, Mr. Bloom was named Vice President of Franchise Sales for Quiznos Corporation. In that role, he was responsible for designing and implementing an accelerated franchise development program throughout the United States. Bloom joined Clockwork in 2007, leading the franchise sales team to reach 400 total franchises in the company's three home services brands by early 2008.
