Beauty Brand Pushes the Technology Envelope!

Additionally, Seva Beauty has always empowered its franchisees with online portals for important business practices such as ordering supplies, marketing materials, and offering a state-of the-art Applicant Tracking System, for hiring staff. Every Studio comes equipped with remote web-viewing capabilities from any device.

Training, coaching and evaluations have been conducted virtually for years and have allowed for immediate and frequent assistance to Franchisees, as needed, all while reducing their carbon footprint. “In the near future, you will see our teams training with ‘Smart Glasses’, like Google Glass. This technology will allow Franchisees and their staff to utilize virtual viewing from the trainer’s perspective. It’s truly amazing.” Said Maniatis.

Seva Beauty’s emphasis on technology was also evident in September 2018. The brand, who is headquartered in Humacao, Puerto Rico was able to continue operations normally even after being hit by hurricane Maria. In a recent interview, Maniatis reminisced about this time: “I was proud to validate our well-planned business infrastructure. Once more we confirmed that we have the right people, processes, content, and technology in place. This is the heart of our company.” This outcome was far from happenstance! It was the result of years of implementing a thought-out business architecture that leveraged key aspects of technology.

Other innovative technologies along with some common ones, like video conferencing, are used for scaling their business and making it possible to hire the best corporate talent without a restriction on geography. Having employees distributed all over the world allowed for a blockchain effect in times of crisis, like the hurricane.
