BRANSON, MO — (Sept. 26, 2006) Charley's Grilled Subs®, one of the fastest-growing franchises in America, next week will celebrate the 300th grand opening of its newest location at Branson Landing in Branson, MO. The official grand opening ceremony will take place Oct. 2, 2006 at 11 a.m. at the new Charley's restaurant, located at the Wharf District of Branson Landing, Suite 331.
The Grand Opening will be attended by Branson Chamber of Commerce President, Ross Summers, and the Mayor of the City of Branson, Lou Schaefer, who will make an official proclamation that Oct. 2, 2006 is "Charley's Grilled Subs Day" in honor of the monumental grand opening, and the franchisee's commitment to corporate citizenship.
For the 300th restaurant opening, Charley's Grilled Subs has partnered with Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Ozarks in an effort to enroll 300 new Big Brothers and Big Sisters in the community. The Big Brothers Big Sisters drive will take place for a two-week period, beginning on Oct. 2 and ending on Oct. 13 at noon.
Additionally, representatives from Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Ozarks, including numerous "Bigs" and "Littles", will participate in a sub-cutting ceremony, officially opening the doors to Charley's 300th location.
Long time Branson resident, Bob Fall, has taken the helm of the Charley's Grilled Subs at Branson Landing.
