July 10, 2008 // Franchising.com // - In support of World Environment Day on the 5th June, Lasertech encouraged its customers to reduce their Carbon Footprint by registering online for the Lasertech Recycling Programme.
Some leading brands of Printer Cartridges are manufactured in the Far East and recycled in the USA meaning that a cartridge can travel over 7,000 miles. By using the Lasertech Recycling Programme Lasertech customers can have an impact on where these cartridges go and how far they travel.
Around 450 schools in particular have registered following the campaign.

Lasertech were one of the first companies in the UK to operate a printer recycling programme and have been manufacturing Printer Cartridges since 1989.
