36 Units Targeted for San Jose Area
Pleasanton, CA--(Marketwire) - Nidhi Gupta and Deepak Gupta, a former senior executive with a number of global high technology firms and who has grown tech companies from zero to $100-million in revenues, will bring their business savvy to the world of pizza and will open up to 36 Marcos™ Pizza stores, home of the Ah! thentic Italian Pizza, in the East Bay and Central Valley areas of northern California.
Jack Butorac, Jr., president of Marcos™ Franchising, who launched the 30-year-old chain from Toledo, OH on a growth curve with a team of franchise development specialists with more than 200 years of collective experience, announced the growth agreement.

Gupta said he will open the first few Marcos™ Pizza stores in California during first half of 2009.
Marcos™ Pizza was founded by an Italian immigrant who used many of his family recipes to grow the business. The company has maintained the founder's standards for freshness, quality and flavor.
The company recently reported the seventh straight quarter for same store sales increases. Marcos™ will open some 50 stores this year and is currently in 14 United States.
The California Marcos™ will serve the Marcos™ menu of custom made Ah! Thentic Italian Pizzas, fresh baked subs, salads, chicken wings and soft drinks with carry out, delivery and some sit down service.
