Grand-opening celebration to benefit West Bend High School Athletics
CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (October 25, 2006) - Jimmy John's Gourmet Sandwich Shops is making its West Bend, Wis., debut by throwing a grand-opening celebration on Saturday, November 4 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 869 S. Main Street. The store is located two blocks north of city hall and the police station.
During the five-hour event, Jimmy John's will be selling its award-winning subs (#1 through #6) for $1.50 with chips and drinks for 50 cents each, limit one per person and good for in-store purchase only. Also, prizes, including Jimmy John's apparel and party platters, will be given away during a drawing. In addition, 20 percent of the proceeds from the celebration will go directly to the West Bend High School Athletics. For additional information, please contact Dan Retski at (262) 335-5590.
Jimmy John's Gourmet Sandwich Shops is unlike any sub shop in the industry; no games or gimmicks, just old-fashioned, homemade sandwiches made from fresh-baked bread, all-natural meats and vegetables that are sliced daily at each restaurant.
Managed by Jason Nemetz and Dan Schmitz, the 59-seat restaurant has 20 employees and opened on June 7, 2006. The store is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., delivers to the surrounding area, offers catering, and accepts Visa and MasterCard.
Steven Wirth and Chad Wirth of CSW Group IV, LLC, own and operate the store. This is their fourth store. They also own locations in Mequon, Germantown and Brookfield. The group plans to open four additional restaurants.
Jimmy John's Gourmet Sandwich Shops was founded in 1983 by 19-year-old Jimmy John Liautaud in a converted garage in Charleston, Ill. In just 23 years, the company has grown to more than 450 corporate and franchised locations in more than 34 states and two countries. The company is known for its obsession with fresh, quality products and high-speed execution. For more information, visit www.jimmyjohns.com or contact the store at (262) 334-0100.
