About Rainbow Academy
Established in 1997 by Guy and Julia Falzarano, Rainbow Academy - A Family of Early Learning Centers has grown steadily, right along with the children it nurtures, from one center to an estimated fourteen locations by the end of 2012. With locations throughout New Jersey, Rainbow Academy has never outgrown its unique approach to childcare and early education. The Falzarano family remains deeply involved in the company and was proud to franchise their business in 2011 in an effort to expand their distinctive early education concept throughout the Northeast.
Company History
Now there are many Rainbow Academy’s in New Jersey, employing over 350 people. They have sprouted wherever working parents need help and support in caring for and educating their children in a safe, secure environment. We’ve thrived because of parents like you who seek an alternative to the cookie-cutter approach that the big franchises offer. Rainbow Academy now has New Jersey locations in Brick, Cranford, Flemington, Iselin, Mahwah, Manasquan, North Brunswick, Piscataway, Rutherford, Summit, Whippany and Woodbridge serving over 1,800 children statewide. And look for new Rainbow Academy’s being opened in 2010.
Guy, Julia and their family continue to take great pride in their family of centers, and many members of Guy’s family are currently working with the the company. One grandchild has already graduated and another is enrolled in their Woodbridge center.
The Falzarano's see family as so much more than something you’re born into. They see it as a blessing to be protected and nurtured. With hundreds of extended “family” members - parents, children and employees - Guy credits their success to the way the core values of his own family have been incorporated into the creation of every new center.
Like the children nurtured within, Rainbow Academy continues to grow, garnering achievements and successes along the way. In 2006 and 2007, they were awarded semi-finalist in the NJ Family Business of the Year competition.* The award recognizes the significant role that family businesses play in the nation’s economy, as well as their vital contribution to the state and local business community. In 2009, Guy was awarded the "Small Business Owner of the Year" by the Woodbridge Metro Chamber of Commerce because of his leadership and commitment to the local business as well as to community involvement.
In October of 2009, they celebrated their twelfth anniversary with a tremendous sense of satisfaction as well as gratitude toward the communities and families who have embraced their ideals.
