Built in a factory-controlled setting and delivered to the job site, precast insulated panels from Superior Walls are custom-designed and constructed to complement any architectural style. The concrete wall panels are delivered to job sites on massive trucks and carefully lowered by cranes onto a bed of clean, crushed stone. The panels are then permanently fixed into place by specially trained, factory-certified crew. Installation usually takes less than one day.
Superior Walls® Xi™ wall foundation system is the most advanced wall system available in the marketplace. Steel reinforced concrete wall panels create a permanent barrier against sidewall water penetration. They feature 2-1/2-inches of continuous DOW® Styrofoam for superior warmth and energy efficiency in the home.
Company History
Superior Walls of America, Ltd. was founded in 1981 by Lancaster County home builder Mel Zimmerman after years of research and development on a precast foundation system. The system was designed to eliminate age-old problems of home building while providing a quick and easy way to build better and dry basements.
