Company History
Des Rice founded Weed Man in 1970 in Toronto, Ontario. The private company began franchising in 1976 and has locations throughout Canada and the United States. A master licensee of Turf Management Systems Inc., Weed Man has been franchising in the United States since 1996. Franchisees may start independent locations or convert existing operations into Weed Man franchises.
