The site is on track to process nearly 200 freight shipments per day this week, underlining the exponential growth of this new business product for the company.

When asked about the growth of the freight business within Worldwide Express, David Kiger, President and CEO, remarked that "the freight shipment numbers have exceeded even our greatest assumptions."

The company is only eight weeks into the new program, and anticipates to generate 1000 freight shipments per week within the next few weeks...

VP of Sales, will be leading the class. This is the first of several Basic Sales classes that will be held throughout the year, and there are 60 attendees this week, making it one of the larger classes in recent years. Unique to this class is the implementation of a Fast Start contest. Franchise owners with account executives in the training have put together a prize for the top performers in the field in the following weeks after the training.

Moving from a previous two day format, this year's event includes a management training for new and experienced managers and franchise owners on January 8th and 9th. The Kick-Off is held to allow each sales office from around the country to come together, hear from Worldwide Express Corporate leadership and DHL leadership, and present expectations going into the new selling year.

Like other Worldwide Express events, the Kick-Off will include a welcome reception, which has proven to be great way to start off the conference.

The upcoming training class may be the largest ever, with an estimated 70 attendees to arrive for the course October 22-26th at the Park Cities Hilton.

Just like the previous Basic trainings this year, the October class will feature Tom Madine, Executive Vice President, as the primary instructor. Also in attendance will be several national development managers and President David Kiger, who attends every Basic training course.
