Franchisees Make the Jump to Multiple Units With The Human Bean

Matt and Davina Lockhart are expanding their footprint in Wyoming with the opening of a second The Human Bean location in Laramie.
The new drive-thru opened Feb. 10 at 415 S. Johnson St., marking the couple's continued investment in the local market. To celebrate, the Lockharts pledged 10% of opening-day proceeds to the Laramie Soup Kitchen.
"Opening another location in Laramie is an exciting milestone for us," Matt Lockhart said. "This community has shown us incredible support, and we're proud to celebrate this grand opening by giving back to the Laramie Soup Kitchen on day one."
The location serves The Human Bean's lineup of specialty-grade coffee, real-fruit smoothies, whole-leaf teas, Bright Energy drinks, and food options with each beverage topped by the brand's signature chocolate-covered espresso bean.
The 27-year-old drive-thru coffee franchise is known for its sustainably sourced coffee and seasonal beverage offerings. While independently owned and operated, the new Laramie location will also participate in system-wide initiatives such as the brand's annual Coffee for a Cure fundraising campaign.
For the Lockharts, the second store builds on the premium products and customer service local guests have come to expect while deepening their presence in the community.
