As part of a season opening celebration, Jackson Hewitt offices will feature open houses for consumers to visit and speak with preparers, receive a refund readiness checklist, discuss tax tips, receive a tax check-up, get their tax preparation efforts started and more.

Additionally, Jackson Hewitt offers a free W-2 download service in order for clients to begin their individual tax returns at the earliest possible date. Once a return is started, clients can receive free refund estimates and can book appointments starting January 14, 2011, to complete and electronically file their tax return.
