The Habit Burger Grill Opens In Riverside

Four Pre-Opening Fundraisers will benefit Riverside Meals on Wheels; Habitat for Humanity Riverside; Feeding America Riverside, and Boy Scouts, Mt. Rubidoux District

August 7, 2015 // Franchising.com // IRVINE, CA – The Habit Restaurants, Inc. (Nasdaq: HABT), an Irvine-based restaurant company recently named by a leading consumer magazine as “the best tasting burger in America,” will open a Habit Burger Grill at Riverside Plaza, located at 3555 Riverside Plaza Drive, off the 91 Freeway and Central Ave, in Riverside. The restaurant will officially open Wednesday, August 12 at 10:30 AM.

The public will get a preview of the popular menu during fundraisers on Sunday, August 9 and Tuesday, August 11 when The Habit will donate 100 percent of all proceeds to four local non-profits. On Sunday, August 9, The Habit will open for lunch (11:30 AM-1:30 PM) benefiting Riverside Meals on Wheels; dinner that evening (5-7 PM) will support Habitat for Humanity® Riverside. At lunch on Tuesday, August 11 (11:30 AM-1:30 PM), both Feeding America Riverside/San Bernardino and Boy Scouts of America, Mt. Rubidoux District, will be the beneficiaries.

The Habit Burger Grill at historic Riverside Plaza totals 3,700 square feet, with 50 seats inside and an additional 50 outdoor patio seats. Approximately 35 new jobs have been created to staff the restaurant.
