Jeanette McNamara Promoted To Vice President Of Scott Shuptrine And Hillside Contemporary Furniture

WARREN, Mich. - March 17, 2016 // PRNewswire // - Art Van Furniture, the Midwest's number one furniture and mattress retailer and America's largest independent furniture retailer, has promoted Jeanette McNamara to serve as the vice president of the company's luxury divisions, Scott Shuptrine Interiors and the newly acquired Hillside Contemporary Furniture.

As vice president of Scott Shuptrine and Hillside, McNamara is responsible for overseeing and leading the day-to-day activities of the company's eight Scott Shuptrine locations and the Bloomfield Township-based Hillside store, ensuring each exceeds its quality, profitability and sales goals. Additionally, she will be driving the continued growth of each luxury division brand through in-store galleries, stand-alone locations and an aggressive franchising portfolio plan.

A graduate of The University of Michigan, McNamara joined Art Van and Scott Shuptrine in 2013. With more than 15 years of leadership and sales experience in the furniture industry, she previously served as the director of Scott Shuptrine. Prior to her tenure with Art Van, McNamara held a variety of management positions with Pottery Barn, including corporate district manager of Pottery Barn Kids and Teen inSan Francisco, district manager of Pottery Barn in Michigan and Northern Ohio, and store manager of several locations throughout Southeast Michigan.
