Lightbridge Academy Opens in East Windsor, New Jersey

This made it easy for owners, Kal and Peter Patel, to expand and open their second Lightbridge Academy location in East Windsor.

After much planning, construction and licensing, the new Lightbridge Academy, located at 149 Route 130 North, East Windsor, is opening in August and enrolling students ages six weeks to five years.

Lightbridge Academy's proprietary Seedlings Early Childhood Education Curriculum utilizes a "whole" child approach to learning and enrichment including Handwriting without Tears, a reading/writing readiness program, Musical Beginnings, American Sign Language, Spanish, and more. Teachers are provided with cutting edge technology to enhance parent communication and the learning environment. iPad technology and interactive whiteboards enrich the educational program by bringing learning to life in classrooms and the indoor multipurpose room every day. An eCommunication app provides parents with classroom updates, pictures and videos of their child's day.

The 10,000 square foot state-of-the-art newly constructed center offers enhanced services to support the working parent including extended hours from 6:30 am to 6:30 pm, a biometric finger scanning security system, and ParentView® internet monitoring system, which allows parents to stay connected to their child throughout the day through closed circuit cameras in each classroom and the outside play area.

All of this innovation is balanced with the importance of providing nurturing care. This healthy balance enables Lightbridge Academy to create a safe, engaging, well rounded, happy and academically successful learning environment. Established in 1997, Lightbridge Academy provides early education and child care to children ages six weeks through pre-K, as well as special programming for children up to 10 years of age including back-up care, school holidays, and summer camp.
