Realogy Leaders Show Strong Support at 2016 Asian American Real Estate Convention

48% of the 2016 AREAA top producer A-List by individual sales volume are affiliated with a Realogy brand

October 27, 2016 // Franchising.com // MADISON, N.J. and LAS VEGAS - The Asian Real Estate Association of America (AREAA) 2016 National Convention recently concluded in Las Vegas, where Realogy had a large presence of company senior leaders serve as speakers, among them Sunita Holzer (Realogy),   Sherry Chris (Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate), Cara Whitley (Century 21 Real Estate) Tanya Reu-Narvaez (Realogy), Tim Hur (Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate),  Craig Hogan (Coldwell Banker Real Estate), Shannon Poser(ERA Real Estate), and Carmen Mercado (Realogy Franchise Group), as well as several brokers and sales associates affiliated with Realogy’s leading franchise brands.

Realogy’s speakers shared their knowledge on a range of topics, including the state of Asia America, Asian global investment outlook, Asian consumer trends, global real estate transaction tools, real estate careers, international business expansion, leadership best practices, green and smart homes changing the way we live, recruiting a diverse staff, establishing a luxury presence, Internet marketing, and housing policy.

This year, AREAA celebrated the achievement of a significant goal that was set by their 2016 national chair Vicky Silvano, who is affiliated with the firm CENTURY 21 S.G.R. in Chicago.  AREAA led the “No Other” campaign, which succeeded in convincing the U.S. Census Department to disaggregate data posted in their quarterly homeownership report under the “other” category.  In the second quarter of 2016, the U.S. Census Department issued its first quarterly home ownership report that included a stand-alone, Asian American Pacific Islander category -- instead of aggregating this data under the heading “other.”
