Lightbridge Academy’s Corporate Culture Highlighted At SmartCEO Celebration

SmartCEO recognizes success can be measured by more than headcount and bottom line.

December 14, 2016 // Franchising.com // Successful companies recognize that employees are more likely to bring success to a business and maintain a competitive advantage when they feel like the work they’re doing on a day-to-day basis is actually making a difference. That’s why Lightbridge Academy’s corporate culture fosters an encouraging and positive mentality.

More than 200 executives and decision-makers gathered to celebrate 40 New Jersey-based companies who were recognized by SmartCEO for their unique company cultures. The atmosphere at the Starland Ballroom reflected the positive, productive corporate cultures, which were celebrated that night with fun activities in good company.

Kicking the evening off with a high-energy networking reception, Lightbridge Academy was able to celebrate alongside other New Jersey companies with similar mindsets geared towards impactful practices.

“Celebrating with top New Jersey companies whose cultures foster a creative, collaborative workplace was an honor,” says Guy Falzarano, the founder and CEO of Lightbridge Academy.

Awarded for their unique company culture, the early childhood education daycare and development center was also featured in SmartCEO magazine’s November/December issue.

“The 2016 Corporate Culture Award winners have realized that running a company is more than headcount and the bottom line,” says Jaime Nespor-Zawmon, President of SmartCEO. “Through their performance-drive cultures, they are able to not only enhance performance and sustain their companies’ competitive advantages, but also enrich the lives of those they employ and inspire them to make a greater impact on the world.”

Falzarano agrees, and he cares deeply about his company’s culture.

“For us, building our company culture was, and is, about creating a place where we can cultivate creativity, energy and ideas. By having a strong culture, we’re able to enrich the lives of our employees and inspire them to make a greater impact on the world in their day to day lives.”

Since 1997, Lightbridge Academy has fostered and reinforced their vision and core values on a daily basis. They’ve taken to more than just providing child care and early childhood education service - they make a positive, life-changing impact on children, as well as their parents.

Lightbridge Academy’s Circle of Care philosophy emphasizes the need for everyone to be included in an inspiring, nurturing environment, from the parents and staff to the children, local community and Lightbridge Academy franchisees.

“Everyone in the organization holds dear Lightbridge Academy’s Circle of Care,” says Falzarano. “We’ve found that this philosophy attracts like-minded owners, staff, vendors and families who value caring relationships as much as we do. It’s our belief that if everyone is happy and supported, they will - in turn - care and watch out for one another. Not only is this good for business, but it’s good for people, too.”
