9Round Continues to Rank Among the Franchise Elite

Ranks #121 in Entrepreneur's 38th Annual Franchise 500® List

January 11, 2017 // Franchising.com // GREENVILLE, S.C. – 9Round continues to climb rapidly in Entrepreneur magazine’s Annual Franchise 500® rankings. After debuting at #443 in 2013, 9Round advanced a total of 322 spots in five years and, at #121 in the 2017 ranking, earned its second consecutive rank in the Top 200.

In the most recent rankings, 9Round was also recognized as one of the Fastest-Growing Franchises (#33), as well as one of the Top Global Franchises (#126).

Nearly 1,000 companies were vetted by Entrepreneur’s editorial team for the 2017 ranking. The key factors that went into Entrepreneur's evaluation included costs and fees, size and growth, support, brand strength, and financial strength and stability. All franchises were given a cumulative score based on more than 150 data points, and the 500 franchises with the highest cumulative scores became the Franchise 500 in ranking order.

In the nearly nine years since launching its franchise opportunity, 9Round has grown to more than 450 locations throughout 40 states and nine countries. More than half of those clubs have opened in the last 24 months alone, including the company’s first locations in Australia, Japan, Jordan, Mexico, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia and the United Kingdom.

With hundreds of additional clubs in various stages of development around the world, and a rapidly growing number of entrepreneurs looking to join the 9Round family, company plans call for having a total of 1,000 locations by the end of 2018.
