Owned and operated by first-time franchisee team Michael Thompson and Angelique Rewers, Mosquito Squad of Delray Beach will provide mosquito and tick protection to Boca Raton, Boynton Beach, Pompano Beach, Deerfield Beach, Lake Worth and surrounding communities.

Prior to joining Mosquito Squad, Thompson worked in the finance, audit and risk industries for Constellation Energy, a wholesale and retail supplier of power, natural gas and energy products, for 12 years, after spending four years with Arthur Andersen LLP, a worldwide public accounting firm. Rewers brings more than 19 years of sales, marketing and public relations expertise to the franchise and also owns and operates The Corporate Agent, a company focused on helping self-employed experts and small enterprise CEOs to land corporate clients and boost revenue. The husband-and-wife duo joined the Mosquito Squad team in December 2016 after making the move from Baltimore to South Florida. The local residents were on a search for another venture that aligned with their business goals, but that was also niche, unique and correlated with the lifestyle and culture of South Florida. After meeting with Mosquito Squad in Virginia, the team immediately saw the growth potential with the brand and realized its mission of enhancing the enjoyment of the outdoors and enriching lives was a perfect fit for their next chapter.
