June 27, 2017 // Franchising.com // Hooters unveiled the opening of a new international location, Hooters of Taipei Xinyi, led by franchisee Destination Eats Pte Ltd., a Hooters 2015 Developer of the Year.

Hooters of Taipei Xinyi is conveniently located at 1F, No. 91, Songren Road in the popular Xinyi District of Taipei, a commercial area filled with malls, restaurants and hotels. The new location seats 120 guests and boasts more than 15 large screen televisions. It is within walking distance to Taipei 101, the famous landmark supertall skyscraper.

“We are excited to introduce Hooters unique dining concept to local-area residents and guests,” said Gary Murray, CEO, Destination Eats Pte Ltd. “With its vibrant mix of restaurants and shops, the Xinyi District is the ideal location for this new Hooters restaurant. We invite fans to relax, unwind and enjoy Hooters world-famous wings served up by one-of-a-kind Hooters Girl hospitality.”

The new location is part of a 35-location Southeast Asia development agreement between Hooters and Singapore-based international franchisee, Destination Eats Pte Ltd. The new location will incorporate the latest design features that deliver the familiar, fun-loving persona of the Hooters brand along with contemporary elements that combine to deliver a one-of-a-kind guest experience. While guests will still enjoy Hooters craveable burgers, wings, appetizers and salads, they can expect some additions to the menus to suit local taste buds.
