Family Won A Trip Of A Lifetime And Came Home To Freshly Painted House

July 11, 2017 // Franchising.com // OAKVILLE, ON – How would you like to go on vacation and come home to a freshly painted home? For Scott and Jaime McIntosh of Milton, Ontario, that dream came true! Last April they entered a sweepstakes held by CertaPro Painters, the largest painting franchise in North America. The first ever Paintcation™ sweepstakes, as it is called, is a part of CertaPro’s ‘We Do Painting, You Do Life™’ campaign.

The McIntosh’s won the sweepstakes which concluded in June of 2016, and were awarded an $8,000 travel voucher for a vacation anywhere. They chose Turks and Caicos – Beaches resort. They loved snorkeling, relaxing by the pool and their six year old daughter, Emily enjoyed the nightly parades. In addition, their home received a newly painted exterior, courtesy of their local CertaPro Painters® of Oakville/Burlington, ON.

“I never thought I would win such a dream come true prize and we feel very lucky to be the winner,” said Scott McIntosh, indicating he and his wife and daughter.  “We didn't know what to expect as our house is brick on the bottom half with a pinkish tone and we were a bit worried we wouldn't like the new colors against our brick but from our first glance on return we absolutely loved it. We worked with Anne Crawford (a local Design Consultant) who chose the best Sherwin Williams color for us and the results were awesome! “Thanks to Anne, CertaPro Painters and Sherwin Williams, our dull looking house was turned into the brightest and newest looking home on the street. So many neighbors are asking us about it and have even asked us to get a quote from CertaPro Painters franchisees Mark and Carmen Tunks.”
