Pizza 73 opens three new Alberta locations – Edmonton, Didsbury, and Wetaskiwin

July 19, 2017 // Franchising.com // EDMONTON, AB - Pizza 73 announces the recent opening of three new locations in Alberta. The first opened in May at 16236 Ellerslie Road SW in Edmonton – the 35th Pizza 73 location in the Greater Edmonton Area. A second location also opened in May at 1602 20th Street in Didsbury – the first site for the brand in the central Alberta town some 80 kilometers north of Calgary. And, in late June, the company opened its 82nd location at 5008 – 50 Avenue in Wetaskiwin, also a new territory for the Pizza 73 brand.

“We’ve always believed in organic, sustained and carefully planned growth,” said Pat Finelli, Chief Marketing Officer for Pizza 73. “And that’s what this represents. We’re very excited to meet our new customers and build relationships, one order at a time, in all communities.”

The dominant player in Western Canada, Pizza 73 has a diverse menu with more than 20 different specialty pizzas, over 20 toppings to choose from, four pizza crust options and a solid line up of side items including chicken wings, jalapeno poppers, oven-baked pasta, curly fries, onion rings and more. The chain has also evolved its menu to help meet changing dietary needs by adding gluten-free pizzas and gluten-free boneless wings.

The brand is widely known for its pan pizza and golden crispy chicken wings, as well as its Everyday Deal offer, which gives customers the choice of two pizzas or one pizza and one wing meal (or boneless wing meal, or shrimp meal) at an everyday low price.
