FirstLight Home Care Reports Record Revenues for Franchisees as Senior Care Industry Booms

Franchisees of leading non-medical home care franchise on track to exceed $88 million in revenues, opens 16 new locations.

August 01, 2017 // Franchising.com // CINCINNATI - FirstLight Home Care, a provider of quality, affordable, non-medical home care for adults, has set all new records for its national business growth. For the first and second quarters, the company has reported $41 million in gross revenues for franchisees, up 20 percent versus the prior year.

FirstLight offers complete non-medical companion and personal care services for seniors, new mothers, those recovering from surgery and other adults in need of assistance. Services include bathing and hygiene, walking and mobility assistance, continence and toileting assistance, as well as household services such as cooking, cleaning, and running errands.

Highlights for FirstLight Home Care during the first half of this year include:

Revenue

FirstLight reported a 20 percent growth in gross revenues for franchisees for the first and second quarters of this year. The company has been showing steady growth for the last few years with an average of 40-50 percent revenue growth year over year. FirstLight’s franchisees are on track to exceed $88 million in gross revenues for 2017.

New Locations

The franchise opened 16 new locations in nine states since January. These include locations in Connecticut, California, Florida, Illinois, Kansas, Michigan, New York, North Dakota, and Texas. At least 10 more offices are set to open before the end of this year with locations awarded to entrepreneurs in California, Florida, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, and Nevada.

Since opening its first franchise location in 2010, FirstLight Home Care has more than 240 locations in 33 states that are fully operational or under development.
