August 01, 2017 // Franchising.com // St. Augustine, Fla. - The Spice & Tea Exchange®, a gourmet, experience-based retail franchise, is shaking up its national marketing strategy through the promotion of former Digital Marketing Coordinator, Libby Breivogel, to Marketing & Merchandising Manager.
Breivogel, recently saluted as The Spice & Tea Exchange’s Team Member in the Spotlight, joined The Spice & Tea Exchange team in 2013 as a Corporate Marketing Assistant, moving up the ladder to the position of Digital Marketing Coordinator in 2015. In her newest role, Breivogel will lead all aspects of marketing and merchandising for franchise retail stores across the country, including the development of new sales promotions, customer loyalty initiatives, visual merchandising, advertising, partnerships and special events. With a deep understanding of the brand, Breivogel was the perfect choice to spearhead marketing efforts for the growing franchise.
“The Spice & Tea Exchange’s mission - creating & sharing the experience of a more flavorful life - resonates with me. It’s amazing to me that when we put our products into the hands of our guests, they create wonderful meals and accompanying memories,” said Breivogel. “As a marketer, I look at this statement as a challenge - how can I help provide, enhance and share our products to ensure guests are getting the most out of every food memory? I’m excited to tackle this challenge head-on while continuing to grow and learn with the brand.”
Since it began franchising in 2008, The Spice & Tea Exchange has been enchanting consumers with its 18th Century trading post décor, charming atmosphere and robust aromas. Over the last nine years, the franchise has grown into a leader in the specialty-retail market, offering a wide array of seasonings, spices, loose leaf teas, salts, sugars, gifts and accessories, to an increasingly food-conscious consumer market. As the brand continues to break into new markets across the United States, its planning to implement several new in-store offerings created to help guests fulfill the company’s mission.
“We’re thrilled to see Libby grow and thrive in every role she’s given here at The Spice & Tea Exchange,” said COO Penny Rehling. “As Marketing & Merchandising Manager, Libby’s creative spark will be invaluable as we continue to innovate new ways to impact the lives of our customers.”
