Popular St. Louis Brunch Spot To Open In St. Charles

First Watch partnering with charity to raise funds for first responders at pre-opening event.

August 03, 2017 // Franchising.com // ST. LOUIS - First Watch Restaurants, the St. Louis-area favorite breakfast, brunch and lunch concept, announced that it will open its newest restaurant at 7 a.m. on Monday, August 7, at 1405 Beale Street in St. Charles. In conjunction with the restaurant opening, the new First Watch will donate all money raised from a pre-opening event to first responders in need through an organization called Responder Rescue.

The local group’s mission is to provide assistance – emotional, tangible or monetary – to any area first responders who have been injured, become ill or suffered a traumatic situation after insurance and department resources have been exhausted. The event will be held at the new First Watch in St. Charles from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on both August 5 and 6 and is open to the public. SWAT team vehicles and officers will be in attendance. A $10 per person donation is suggested.

“St. Louis has been a great home for First Watch since we opened here more than 15 years ago, and we’re always looking for ways to say ‘Thank You’ to our friends and neighbors here,” said Chris Tomasso, president of First Watch. “As part of the First Watch opening in St. Charles, our new team is eager and honored to help the men and women in uniform who work selflessly to serve and protect each of us every day.”

The 3,300-square-foot restaurant will be the company’s ninth location in Greater St. Louis and will employ about 25 people. It boasts a warm interior design that combines farm-fresh elements with a high-energy, urban design, bringing a unique, friendly character to St. Charles.

First Watch’s curated menu takes an elevated approach to traditional and innovative offerings made to order using farm fresh ingredients. It includes crave-able items such as Avocado Toast, Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict, Farm Stand Breakfast Tacos and Lemon Ricotta Pancakes. The new restaurant will offer healthy, flavorful favorites like house-made granola and pico de gallo, organic greens, house-roasted vegetables, cage-free eggs and 100% fresh-squeezed orange juice as well as more indulgent, traditional breakfast, brunch and lunch offerings. First Watch in St. Charles will also offer options from the restaurant’s Fresh Juice Bar – including the best-selling Kale Tonic – juiced in-house daily using only the highest quality fruits and vegetables.

First Watch serves its entire menu seven days a week from 7 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. The restaurant also offers customers complimentary newspapers and free Wi-Fi Internet access.
