Nationally Renowned Dementia Care Expert to Offer Caregiving Tips Through First-of-its-kind Live Performance

Putting a new spin on the annual conference this year, Teepa Snow, nationally renowned dementia care expert, will be performing in a play designed to educate families, caregivers and professionals about the stages of dementia. She, along with other professionals, will act out the different stages in an individual’s journey with memory loss.

“Through this day of innovative learning, our goal is help families, community members and caregivers better understand memory loss,” said Robert Nations, owner of Senior Helpers North Bay. “Teepa and supporting actors will depict the different stages of dementia, while offering techniques on how to modify support, care and the environment in order to optimize care for those living with the devastating diagnosis.”

There will be a cost of $40 per person for the all-day event including a continental breakfast and lunch. Attendees can elect to earn six continuing education units (CEUs) for an additional fee of $35.00.
