Allegra Marketing Print Mail in Western North Carolina Finds Calling and Purpose in Community Investment

ASHEVILLE, N.C. - Dec. 21, 2017 // PRNewswire // - If there is one key takeaway that Dave Campbell has learned in his nearly 20 years as a marketing and printing services provider, it's that the strongest return on investment for a company comes from giving back to the local community.

As the franchise owner of five Allegra Marketing Print Mail centers across Western North Carolina – four Asheville locations and one in Hendersonville – Campbell plays many roles: entrepreneur, salesperson, small business marketing expert, customer service provider, team leader and community partner.

Campbell is professionally driven to provide his team's expertise to area businesses and nonprofits that can help them be more competitive and grow through high-impact marketing campaigns. And he's personally driven to give back as an active member of the communities where he operates. "A business is only as strong as the community it serves," Campbell says. "We all need to chip in to lift those who need a helping hand."

To do their part, Allegra sponsors an initiative called the FootPRINT Fund®. The annual program provides free marketing and printings services to eligible nonprofits. Nineteen organizations were each recently awarded $1,000 worth of services to help them "leave a footprint" in the communities they serve in 2018. The awards can be put toward graphic design services, print materials, signs or banners, promotional products or web projects.

"The services we can provide make it a little easier for our award recipients to reach those in need as well as enlist more donors, supporters and volunteers," said Campbell. "Our team takes pride in this effort, and participating in community job shadowing and workforce experience programs. It makes us as a company, and as individuals, part of something much bigger than a business."

As Campbell looks toward his 20-year business anniversary this coming spring, he is approaching the future with a strategic growth plan. "We understand the challenges small to mid-sized businesses and nonprofits face," Campbell said. "After all, we're one, too."
