Music Education Franchise Opens Newest Location in Florida

January 04, 2018 // Franchising.com // POMPANO BEACH, FL - School of Rock, the renowned leader in performance-based music education, announces the opening of its newest school in Pompano Beach, Florida. The school is located at 1901 North Federal Highway, Unit E209 Pompano Beach, Florida 33062. School of Rock Pompano Beach will open its doors to students December 23, but will celebrate with a rockin’ grand opening party held Saturday, January 20 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.. The celebration will include live music demonstrations from School of Rock, a ceremonial guitar-smashing and ribbon-cutting, raffles, free trial lessons and more.

School of Rock provides students an exciting and supportive learning environment where they develop skills on guitar, vocals, keyboard, bass and drums. Drawing on their own experience as touring musicians, School of Rock instructors teach students in the legendary theories and tunes of rock artists such as AC/DC and Frank Zappa. This performance-based approach has advanced students around the world by providing them with confidence and superior instrumental competence, even propelling some students to platforms such as American Idol, The Voice and Broadway fame. School of Rock Pompano Beach adds to a family of over 200 schools around the globe, and is franchisee Craig Zim and manager Burny Pelsmajer’s third school.

Both New York transplants, Craig Zim and Burny Pelsmajer brought School of Rock to life in Southern Florida after seeing its success in the greater Manhattan area. After attending Oberlin and touring as a professional musician for eight years, Burny manages and oversees each school, and will provide enticing performing and teaching experience to Pompano Beach students.
