Scooter’s Coffee Adds 18th Location to Lincoln

Newest Location to Host Day of Giving for Matt Talbot Kitchen & Outreach

March 23, 2018 // Franchising.com // Lincoln, NE - Scooter’s Coffee, the Midwest-based coffee franchise that has experienced tremendous growth over the past year, has increased its Nebraska presence with the company’s latest drive-thru location in Lincoln (844 Fallbrook Blvd.). The grand opening celebration on Friday, March 30, will be dedicated to Matt Talbot Kitchen and Outreach - 100% of proceeds will be donated to this organization.

Franchisees, Jason and Rita Metcalf, who own a majority of the Lincoln stores, will own and operate this location.

“Matt Talbot Kitchen believes they can end homelessness in Lincoln, and we believe in their mission and leadership and want to be a part of it,” said Jason. “It’s important for us as business owners to reach back into the community that supports us.”

In addition to the March 30 Day of Giving, there will be specials offered all week long in celebration. March 26-28, the Fallbrook location will offer $1 off any drink, and on Thursday, March 29, the location will offer half off any drink (excluding Red Bull drinks).

On Friday, March 30, grand opening day, customers can expect to receive several fun giveaways:

  • 6 a.m. - First 50 customers will receive a free t-shirt with purchase
  • 10 a.m. - First 50 customers will receive a free Scooter’s mug with purchase
  • 2 p.m. - First 100 customers will receive a free $5 gift card with purchase

To continue the celebration of this new store opening, the location will also be treating customers to Free Food days throughout the month of April where customers can enjoy a complimentary food item with the purchase of any drink (while supplies last). See store for full details.
