Rush Bowls to Open New World Headquarters in Gunbarrel

Healthy fast-casual chain set to open new restaurant, test kitchen and corporate headquarters this spring.

March 28, 2018 // Franchising.com // BOULDER, Colo. - Rush Bowls - a fast-casual restaurant chain known for its meals-in-a-bowl crafted from the finest fruits and vegetables, topped with granola and honey, and blended with protein, vitamins and other nutritious ingredients - has signed a lease for a new corporate headquarters in Gunbarrel, Colorado, northeast of Boulder.

Set to open May 2018, the new headquarters, with over 4,000 square feet, will be located at 5400 Spine Road, and will house the corporate offices, a new eatery and a test kitchen.

“We are thrilled to announce the opening of our world headquarters and new corporate store in Gunbarrel. While Boulder will always remain a core part of Rush Bowls’ DNA, Gunbarrel possesses many of the attributes that set the stage for a successful Rush Bowls operation,” said Andrew Pudalov, founder and CEO of Rush Bowls. “With Gunbarrel’s fast-growing community, and robust and expanding restaurant scene, we saw great potential for Rush Bowls to stake a claim as the go-to source for nutritious and quick meals-in-a-bowl.”

The move comes on the heels of the brand’s first franchisee-owned location which opened in Nashville in 2017 and the announcement the development of more than 50 new franchises in major U.S. markets, including in Arizona, California, Connecticut, Georgia, Indiana, Missouri, North Carolina, Oregon and Texas.

Founded in 2004, Rush Bowls offers meals crafted from all-natural fruit, topped with organic granola and honey, and blended with protein, vitamins and other nutritious ingredients that taste delicious while promoting a healthy lifestyle. Customers can choose from over 40 signature bowls or smoothies made with fruit and vegetable bases, including acai, kale and avocado.

Over the past 14 years, Rush Bowls has cultivated a loyal following with its menu specializing in healthy, all-natural, fruit-blended meals-in-a-bowl for those on the go. Bowls are also available in vegan, gluten-free, soy-free and dairy free options, and anything can be custom made to cater to any and all dietary needs.

“Our number one priority is 100 percent all-natural nutrition, which makes Rush Bowls different from other grab-and-go concepts,” Pudalov added. “Our meals are crafted from the finest fruits and vegetables, we hand-grind our own peanut butter and make our jam in house; we do this to ensure the highest quality and taste for our customers.”

Pudalov also notes that with more than 50 Rush Bowls restaurants currently in various stages of development across 10 states, the brand plans to have more than 20 locations open and operating by the end of 2018.
