New business looks to help local families get a jump on spring cleaning year-round.

The new Oxi Fresh business is owned and operated by husband and wife team Peter and Carrie Smith. The duo will operate in the Greater Round Rock area, including Williamson, Travis and Bell counties.

Prior to joining on with Oxi Fresh, Peter and Carrie Smith lived north of Toronto in Barrie, Ontario. After a visit to see family in Texas, the duo decided to leave their careers in construction and healthcare, respectively, to make the move and immigrate to Austin. Oxi Fresh is the first business venture for the couple.

The Colorado-based franchise, which today has more than 340 locations open and operating throughout the United States and Canada, prides itself on offering green carpet cleaning and incredible results through a unique, low-moisture process.
