Office Evolution Opens First of Ten Planned Business Centers and Secures Lease for Second Location

One of the fastest growing franchises in the U.S.(1) targets Atlanta market with plans for ten locations in Greater Atlanta

ATLANTA - (BUSINESS WIRE) - May 29, 2018 - Office Evolution, a rapidly-growing shared-office franchisor offering co-working space, private office space, virtual offices and business services, announced today that it has opened its first business center in Alpharetta, the first of ten planned for the Atlanta area. Franchise owners, Andy Bean and Scott Thompson, through their Atlanta Office Ventures, LLC, also announced that they have signed a lease for their second location in Dunwoody near Perimeter Mall.

Alpharetta Grand Opening

The new 9,800 square foot center located in the Parkway 400 building at 11720 Amber Park Dr., Suite 160, offers small businesses and entrepreneurs professional, on-demand office space with 24/7 access. Members can choose from several packages that also include business mailing and telephone answering services and administrative support. Rental options include hourly, daily, month-to-month and longer-term leases.

The bright, airy, first floor center offers 33 private furnished offices, a community kitchen, a large co-working business lounge and two conference rooms that can accommodate from eight to 16 people. The center offers easy access to both Turner McDonald Parkway and Old Milton Parkway and has numerous hotels, shopping and restaurants nearby. Building amenities include free parking and a complimentary onsite fitness center. Once fully developed, members will enjoy 24/7 access to 10 centers in Atlanta and up to 139 centers throughout the U.S.

Dunwoody Lease Signing

Office Evolution has signed a lease for its second Atlanta area business center located at 56 Perimeter Center E, Suite 150, in the Dunwoody area. The new 6,900 square foot center, conveniently located near I-285 and Georgia 400, is minutes from Perimeter Mall and numerous restaurants and hotels. The first-floor center offers free on-site parking and is expected to open in the Fall of 2018.

Trey Dove of Cushman & Wakefield represented Office Evolution in the transaction. Perimeter Center East is a 94,575 square foot six-story mixed-use building.

The market demand for co-working space, private furnished office space, virtual offices and business services is expected to continue its rapid growth trajectory as corporate America continues to outsource many jobs that can be performed more cost-effectively by contractors. The number of consultants, contractors, and so-called “solopreneurs” will have soared 50 percent between 2011 and 2018, to an estimated 24 million, per an annual workforce report by MBO Partners. Moreover, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics estimates that the number of freelancers, temps, independent contractors and solopreneurs will grow from 30 percent of the workforce today to 40 percent of the total workforce over the next five years.
