Labor Finders, the company that spearheaded the temporary staffing industry is celebrating 30 years of business in Columbia. The Labor Finders office was opened as a family business in June of 1988 by Ken Elbert. Ken was not only a business leader in the community but was also a visionary. Along with his son-in-law, Rich Fields, they opened offices in Greenville, Charleston, Spartanburg, Rock Hill and Florence and have been able to seamlessly service the entire state of South Carolina. The family chose Labor Finders, a franchise organization because it gave them a way to fulfill God’s purpose by helping South Carolina companies succeed while providing work opportunities for people in need at the same time.

Richard Fields, the President of Labor Finders South Carolina, Inc., is a West Point graduate and service-connected disabled veteran and he has been running the South Carolina Labor Finders franchise since 1989.

There is an old business expression that numbers do not lie, well, the following numbers is impressive: over the past 30 years, more than 30,000 companies (10,000 in Columbia alone), have trusted Labor Finders for their staffing needs. As a way of thanking the people of Columbia for their continuing support, Labor Finders will donate $.30 for each hour billed in Columbia during the month of June to the Oliver Gospel Mission, one of the city’s finest non-profit organizations, which has been helping the homeless since 1988. “We’ll provide you with the help you need and you’ll be helping a great cause,” stated Rich Fields.

To continue the focus on the 30-Year milestone Mr. Fields went on to say, “We would like to offer the Columbia business community $30.00 off any one invoice for staffing services provided by our Columbia office during the month of June 2018.”
