Columbus Entrepreneur Earns National Award

North American Property Restoration Franchisor, PuroClean, Names Rick Gutridge 2018 Franchise of the Year

June 25, 2018 // Franchising.com // Columbus, Ohio - Rick Gutridge, owner of PuroClean Fire & Water Experts in Columbus, Ohio, was named PuroClean’s Franchise of the Year at the company’s annual convention, held recently in Indianapolis, Indiana.

From among more than 260 PuroClean franchise owners across North America, Gutridge was recognized for receiving outstanding marks in five categories pertinent to running a successful PuroClean business: sales growth over the past three years, market share, sales revenue, profitability, and the number of continuing education classes conducted.

“Since I first opened my PuroClean business, it has grown beyond my expectations. I have been lucky to learn so much from other franchise owners in the system, and I hope I can serve as a resource to newer PuroClean owners,” said Gutridge. “The PuroClean system has allowed me to receive additional program work and partner referrals that has helped my business have a steady source of claims, which has ultimately helped grow my business. Without the support of the system and my team, I couldn’t have earned the Franchise of the Year - I can’t say enough about their dedication and hard work.”

Gutridge opened his PuroClean in 2006. Prior to PuroClean, he worked in the information technology (IT) sector for nearly three decades. Gutridge is passionate about helping homeowners find solutions when they are overwhelmed with home disasters, and enjoys making homes in his community a safer place.
