Jersey Mike's Subs Opens First Glastonbury Location
June 25, 2018 // Franchising.com // GLASTONBURY, Conn. - Jersey Mike’s Subs, known for its fresh sliced/fresh grilled subs, opened in Glastonbury on June 20. Franchise owners Beth and McRae Williams held a grand opening and free sub fundraiser from Wednesday, June 20 to Sunday, June 24 to support Glastonbury Education Foundation (GEF). An official ribbon cutting ceremony with the Connecticut River Valley Chamber of Commerce will take place on Wednesday, June 20, at 9:30am.
The new restaurant, located at 2941 Main Street, circulated 5,000 print coupons and over 10,000 digital coupons throughout the community offering a free regular sub for a minimum $2 contribution to Glastonbury Education Foundation whose mission is to promote excellence, innovation, and creativity in education for our children and community.
“We are excited to bring Jersey Mike’s Subs to Glastonbury. Becoming a franchisee of Jersey Mike’s was an easy decision, with the high quality and fresh ingredients coupled with a mission to give back to the community in which we live,” said McRae. “We are thrilled to be working with the Glastonbury Education Foundation during our grand opening fundraiser. This is one of the more active foundations in our town, making significant contributions in the form of grants to help fund amazing things for our school system like the CREST Science Lab MakerSpace projects and community partnerships.”
