Glory Days Grill® Opens New Restaurants In Florida, Maryland, And Virginia

Newest restaurant opens in Linthicum Heights, Maryland near BWI Airport

July 02, 2018 // Franchising.com // Gaithersburg, MD - Glory Days Grill, a sports-themed family restaurant operating 31 corporate and franchised restaurants in 5 states, is pleased to announce the opening of its newest restaurant in Linthicum Heights, Maryland on Nursery Road less than a mile from BWI Airport. This is the company’s seventh location in Maryland, and its third restaurant in Anne Arundel County. The opening occurs one month after Glory Days Grill’s franchise opened their 8th Florida restaurant (Sarasota, FL) and immediately precedes the opening of the company’s Alexandria, Virginia restaurant in August.

The opening of the Linthicum Heights restaurant comes at a busy time for the company which opened four restaurants in 2017 (Odessa, FL; Brandon, FL; Apex, NC and Falls Church, VA) with an additional five restaurants opening throughout 2018 (Sarasota, FL; Linthicum Heights, MD; Alexandria, VA; Brooksville, FL and Ft Myers, FL). By early 2019, Glory Days Grill will operate 34 restaurants with more planned.

Jesse McPherson, President of MVP Holdings, Glory Days Grill’s multi-unit franchisee in Florida, anticipates continued rapid growth. “We’re excited and our entire team is looking forward to our Glory Days Grill restaurant expansion in the Florida market. We’re anticipating opening 2 to 3 new restaurants per year!”

The new Nursery Road restaurant is open seven days per week, from 11 AM to midnight (11 AM to 11 PM on Sundays). This location features over 7,000 square feet of bar, dining, and meeting space which features the Clickshare wireless presentation system - perfect for meetings, networking events, parties and fantasy football drafts. Guests will enjoy a comfortable, family-friendly atmosphere with over 40 televisions, tableside speakers, large scale photography highlighting the ‘glory moments’ of sports, and hand-painted artwork painted by Annapolis-based artist Cindy Fletcher-Holden.

The Nursery Road restaurant opens with popular daily specials including $5.99 Monday Burgers; $5.99 Taco Tuesdays; $10.99 Rib Wednesdays; $5.99 Nacho Thursdays; and a $9.99 Fish Fry on Fridays. In addition, Nursery Road features freshly made, pub-style individual 12” pizzas and will offer $5.99 Pizzas every Thursday. For late night guests, the ‘Snack Attack Menu’ features $4 / $5 / $6 snack-sized appetizers every day after 9 PM. Nursery Road will offer fundraising programs for schools and teams, plus managers are now accepting applications for Fall 2018 team sponsorships.
