Handyman Connection of Ann Arbor Wins Prestigious Remodeling Award

Leading Home Renovation Company Recognized for Outdoor Living Project

ANN ARBOR, Mich. - July 9, 2018 // PRNewswire // - Continuing to set new standards of professionalism, Handyman Connection of Ann Arbor was recognized as one of 80 remodeling companies from across the United States that were just named winners at the 2018 Chrysalis Awards for Remodeling Excellence. The entries were judged on overall design, the creative use of space and materials, and the degree to which the project enhanced the original structure.

Handyman Connection of Ann Arbor received the regional award for an outdoor living project under $75,000. The cabana project only took two weeks to complete but required a great deal of creativity to provide both a useful shelter for the client's new hot tub as well as a seamless connection with the existing deck. The client can now enjoy his hot tub year round, no matter what the weather! The added bar area and versatility of the attractive outbuilding really make for an incredible outdoor living space.

The judges of the awards are editors and writers of consumer publications such as Better Homes & Gardens, Woman's Day's Home Remodeling & Makeovers, Southern Living Magazine and Sunset Magazine. The projects are judged on design, use of materials, use of space and integration into the existing space.
