RE/MAX Has More of “America’s Best” Agents for Fourth Consecutive Year

REAL Trends Announces “America’s Best Real Estate Professionals” Rankings

July 10, 2018 // Franchising.com // DENVER - RE/MAX, the world’s most productive real estate network*, placed more agents than any other brand in the 2018 REAL Trends “America’s Best Real Estate Professionals” rankings. Nearly one in four agents in the survey is a RE/MAX agent.

“ ‘America’s Best Real Estate Professionals’ is our industry’s largest ranking of agents based on homes sold,” said RE/MAX CEO Adam Contos. “This is the fourth consecutive year that RE/MAX has qualified more agents for the survey than any other brand.”

The REAL Trends “America’s Best Real Estate Professionals” survey ranks participating agents in the United States based on 2017 residential transaction sides and sales volume. The survey is divided into four categories: individual agents by sales volume, individuals by transaction sides, team leaders by volume and team leaders by sides.

To qualify, an individual must have closed 50 transaction sides or $20 million in sales volume and a team must have closed 75 transaction sides or $30 million in sales volume last year. Individuals ranked in the 2018 REAL Trends “America's Best Real Estate Professionals” averaged 73.9 transaction sides and nearly $38 million in sales volume. Ranked team leaders averaged 147.4 sides and slightly over $62 million in volume.

Other notable recognitions of RE/MAX agents and team leaders in the 2018 REAL Trends “America’s Best Real Estate Professionals” rankings:

  • RE/MAX qualified 3,146 agents, Keller Williams was second with 2,518 and Coldwell Banker was third with 1,630.
  • 22.7 percent of the agents in the survey are RE/MAX agents, the highest percentage ever for RE/MAX and a significant increase over 19.9% last year. The number of RE/MAX qualifiers grew by 640 agents.
  • 28 percent of the rankings for transaction sides (2,805 of 9,883) went to RE/MAX agents and team leaders.

RE/MAX associates also outperformed participating agents with other real estate brands in the 2018 REAL Trends 500 survey. For the eighth consecutive year, RE/MAX agents in the survey on average outsold competing agents – averaging more than twice as many closed sales than agents at other participating large brokerages.
