Delta Disaster Services Signs Deal to Open New Location in Brazos Valley

Local Entrepreneurs to Bring Award-Winning Property Restoration Services to Brazos Valley

July 25, 2018 // Franchising.com // COLLEGE STATION, Texas - Delta Disaster Services, a nationally recognized and award-winning franchise brand that provides restoration services to commercial and residential properties, announced today that it has inked a franchise agreement with local entrepreneurs Brad and Sue Ayers to bring a new location to the Greater Brazos Valley Area.

“We recently launched an aggressive growth strategy to become a dominant force in the restoration industry in the coming years, and it’s exciting to see this plan coming to fruition so quickly,” said Mike Mastous, founder and president of Delta Disaster Services. “We welcome Brad and Sue to the Delta Disaster Services family as new franchise owners and we’re thrilled to have them represent our brand in the College Station market. The Ayers’ experience and talents will help us establish our brand in the area and their strong business acumen and dedication to the community will deliver significant benefits for home and business owners who experience property damage.”

The Ayers, longtime Brazos Valley residents, have extensive local business experience as the owners and operators of Chem-Dry of Brazos County. Brad and Sue opened their Chem-Dry carpet and upholstery cleaning business 27 years ago. Chem-Dry’s parent company, HRI Holdings. Inc. (HRI), acquired Delta Disaster Services earlier this year; the Ayers are some of the first Chem-Dry franchisees to invest in a Delta Disaster Services franchise.

“I’ve been incredibly impressed with the Delta Disaster Services model; from the integrated communication platform to their intensive training regimen and their top-notch support team,” said the Ayers. “Delta Disaster Services will be a natural extension to our existing Chem-Dry business. While we’ve been doing water mitigation for decades, we are looking forward to expanding our scope with Delta Disaster Services and bringing a wider array of restoration services to this area.”

Notably, Brad and Sue Ayers have received several local awards for their Chem-Dry business, including being named to the “Best of the Brazos” list five times and receiving “The Eagle’s Reader’s Choice Award” in 2016, 2017 and 2018. Nationally, they have received Chem-Dry’s Perpetual Excellence (2015), Brand Ambassador (2016) and Training Excellence (2017) awards, demonstrating Brad and Sue’s commitment to excellence in running their business and servicing their customers.

Delta Disaster Services provides an industry-leading restoration solution to both residential and commercial clients. Its services cover damage from flood and water, smoke and fire, as well as mold and other environmental conditions. Franchise owners and customers alike enjoy the Delta Disaster Services highly integrated communication platform that tracks projects from initial call through completion, incorporating all documentation and providing real-time access.

In addition to its market-leading technology platform, Delta Disaster Services distinguishes itself with thorough and rigorous education for its staff. In fact, its certification requirements put Delta Disaster Services franchisees in the top one percent of restoration companies nationally. Further, the brand is positioned favorably with insurance carriers who value the superior quality of work, reliability and ease of communication with Delta Disaster Services franchise owners.

Under the direction of HRI, parent company to the Chem-Dry® Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning and N-Hance® Wood Refinishing franchise businesses as well, Delta Disaster Services is benefitting from the parent company’s proven ability to scale concepts. In the near term, HRI and Delta Disaster Services are teaming up on building a new, world-class flood house training facility in Denver near the brand’s headquarters allowing for a higher-grade hands-on education experience for its owners and their employees.

Since its late March 2018 acquisition by HRI, Delta Disaster Services has been in an aggressive growth phase, with plans to add 300 locations across the United States in the next few years. Through HRI’s acquisition, Delta Disaster Services is able to market its franchise opportunity to the 1,100 existing Chem-Dry and N-Hance franchisees in the United States and Canada. For many Chem-Dry franchisees, Delta Disaster Services is a logical addition to their portfolio, as many have some restoration offerings today and a dedicated and established property restoration brand with a strong support system would improve their competitiveness locally.

Currently, Delta Disaster Services has operations in sixteen markets, including its corporately run territory in Denver. Franchise units operate in Northern, Southern and Western Colorado, as well as Salt Lake City, Northern Los Angeles and in the Gulf Coast areas of Northwest Florida, Southern Mississippi and Alabama.
