Main Squeeze Juice Co. Inks 3 Store Deal in Louisiana

August 22, 2018 // Franchising.com // NEW ORLEANS, La. - Main Squeeze Juice Co. is firing up the blenders. On June 21, National Smoothie Day, the juice and smoothie concept signed a development deal with Russell Mosely for three stores in Louisiana, including Baton Rouge.

Mosely's first 1,600 square foot store will be located at Long Farm Village and is slated to open by in the first quarter of 2019.

"The health market and clean eating trend has been growing--it's no longer a trend, it's a way of life that many are choosing to adopt," Mosely said. "Main Squeeze may be the newest player in the juice market, but it is unlike the others. The juice and smoothies not only make healthy easier, but they make it taste better too. You want to go on a juice cleanse with Main Squeeze. We are excited to bring the nutritious and delicious smoothies and juices we have grown to love to Baton Rouge."

Mosely, an attorney at Mosely Law Firm, is also the developer of Long Farm Village. When he came across Main Squeeze Juice Co., he felt that it would be a wonderful addition to the development and decided to franchise the location and two others himself.

"With two sons, I'm constantly trying to find somewhere that is quick, affordable, nutritious and delicious, and something the kids like, and I know I'm not alone in that quest," added Mosely. "My family loves Main Squeeze and I'm confident the rest of the community will, too."

Main Squeeze's mission is to make healthy easier, and the company's nutritionist-designed, superfood-centric menu does exactly that by offering a daily source of plant-based nutrition packed with natural and quick energy. The concept's proprietary recipes feature chef-inspired cold-pressed juices and superfood smoothies, along with one-, two- and three-day juice cleanse programs, wellness shots, and acai bowls created from organic and wild-harvested acai berries from the Amazon rainforest in Northeast Brazil.

"Health begins and ends with how you choose to fuel your body and your lifestyle," said Thomas Nieto, CEO of Main Squeeze. "We strongly believe in reviving the idea of 'food as medicine' through our menu - combining the timeless simplicity of fruits and vegetables in a nourishing and refreshing way."

With two locations open and operating in Lake Charles, Louisiana and Katy, Texas, Main Squeeze Juice Co. plans to open seven stores in 2018, bringing the total to nine. According to Nieto, the brand currently has 30 additional franchisee- and corporate-owned locations under development, including the company's flagship store, co-owned by Marques and Emily Colston, in New Orleans.
