CD One Price Kicks Off Season of Giving by Bringing Back Five-Story Helium Balloon Characters for Chicago's Thanksgiving Day Parade

WESTCHESTER, Ill. - Nov. 20, 2018 // PRNewswire // - This year's crowd at the Chicago Thanksgiving Day parade will get to feast their eyes on some giant additions to the festive line up. Thanks to a local Chicagoland cleaners, the five-story tall helium balloon characters missing from the Chicago Thanksgiving Day Parade will be back for this year's procession. CD One Price Cleaners is sponsoring the lovable inflatables allowing parade fans to see Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Tasmanian Devil and Fred Flintstone along the State Street parade route, starting at 8 a.m. on Thursday, November 22nd.

"We're kicking off our holiday season with a gift that's one size fits all and something everyone can enjoy," said Jonathon Reckles, director of marketing for CD One Price Cleaners. "The giant balloons are just one of the ways we're looking to give back in the communities where we live and work. All 34 Chicagoland stores are participating in our holiday giveaways, family events, fun run sponsorships and games that benefit local charities. CD One Price Cleaners upcoming sponsorships, in-store giveaways and game details include:

• November 17th Jingle Bell Run. 100% of registration fees and funds raised benefit the Arthritis Foundation.
• November 24th, Holly Jolly Market presented by CD One Price Cleaners (Niles residents only). Family-friendly entertainment and fun for all ages including trackless train rides, s'mores, horse-drawn sleigh rides, petting zoo, shows, and more.
• November 24th, Turkey Trot (Schaumburg). Benefits Misericordia Heart of Mercy.
• December 1st, Santa Hustle 5K presented by CD One Price Cleaners (Soldier Field). 5,000 Chicagoans visit Soldier Field, dress up in festive holiday gear to support Bear Necessities, a national organization dedicated to eliminating Pediatric Cancer.
• December 1st - 2nd, Winter Wonderland presented by CD One Price Cleaners (Des Plaines). Free event to meet Santa, enjoy hayrides, face painting, arts and crafts, and live entertainment.
• December 8th Cocoa Classic presented by CD One Price Cleaners (Deer Park). 5K Run/Walk benefitting Mane In Heaven, a charitable organization providing therapeutic benefits to disabled and able-bodied children and adults through animal-assisted activity and therapy visits with miniature horses.
• December 13th SHE 100.3 (Orland Park). Meet Mr. and Mrs. Claus from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at the Orland Park location and enjoy a sophisticated hot cocoa bar along with holiday cookies and candies.
