HomeSmart International Welcomes First Idaho Franchise

Real Estate Franchisor Expands Presence in Idaho with HomeSmart Premier Realty

November 27, 2018 // Franchising.com // IDAHO FALLS, Idaho - HomeSmart International is pleased to announce HomeSmart Premier Realty, the newest franchise to align with the fast-growing real estate brand. This is the first HomeSmart franchise opened in Idaho, which follows more than 20 new franchise locations added nationwide in 2018.

Led by CEO Elias Trejo and Broker Mertello Baird, the new franchise will serve agents and consumers in Southeast Idaho, from Island Park down to the Bear Lake area with intent to grow to Boise and Northern Idaho within the year. In addition to giving the 100 percent commission, support and proprietary technology model, HomeSmart Premier Realty will offer free training to all real estate agents.

“We opened a HomeSmart franchise because we wanted to give agents an option where they don’t have to pick between good technology, culture and low fees,” said Trejo. “In Idaho, agents have had to sacrifice either good technology and training or a large chunk of their commissions. At HomeSmart Premier Realty, you don’t have to pick. It’s the best of both worlds!”

Trejo, Baird and the rest of the Premier Realty team has worked in residential real estate for a combined 24 years. Together, they hope to have 1000 agents working with their brokerage in the next five years.

“We know how hard agents work for their commissions,” said Baird. “We want them to be able to keep the majority of that hard earned money so they can live the life they deserve.”
