Local Resident Opens Kumon Center after her Children Experience Success in the Program

Kumon Math and Reading of Dacula-Town Center Now Taking Enrollments

DACULA, Ga. - Dec. 5, 2018 // PRNewswire // - Shirly Samuel has over a decade of experience as a computer science engineer, is a mother of two, and a self-proclaimed workaholic who loves a good challenge. Because she comes from a family of educators, she decided to enroll her oldest son in Kumon to ensure a solid foundation in math. After a few short months, she was amazed by his progress and intrigued by the method. With a brand-new challenge in hand, Shirly walked away from her career and opened Kumon Math and Reading of Dacula-Town Center.

"What I love about the Kumon Program is that it focuses on each individualized child and how to help that child reach their full potential," said Samuel, owner and Instructor of Kumon Math and Reading of Dacula-Town Center. "I enjoy helping children develop the critical skills they'll need to succeed in life, like independence, focus and perseverance."
