With Christmas and New Year’s around the corner, it’s the perfect time to plan your mac and cheese side dish to impress your family and friends around the table. I ♥ Heart Mac and Cheese’s Catering Department is sharing a few, unique mac and cheese recipes to really wow your guests. All can be ordered in-store and through the catering department. All catering orders must be made within 24 hours in advance.

• Lobster & White Truffle Mac: Maine lobster, Muenster cheese and scallions enveloped in a lobster cream and white truffle oil
• Baked Buffalo Chicken Mac & Cheese: This Baked Buffalo Chicken Mac & Cheese includes chicken covered in buffalo sauce and topped with celery, blue cheese and carrots.
• Philly Cheese Steak Mac & Cheese: This Philly Cheese Steak Mac & Cheese is served with slow cooked short rib, onion, mushrooms and Muenster cheese.
• The Cuban Mac & Cheese: This is a favorite at I Heart Mac & Cheese. The Cuban Mac & Cheese includes mojo marinated pulled pork, ham and gruyere cheese. It’s topped with dill pickles.
• Baked Chicken or Meatball Parmesan: Cheese sauce, marinara, Parmesan cheese, mozzarella cheese, pesto and garlic.

Those who may want more healthful options, I ♥ Heart Mac & Cheese recently added quinoa, cauliflower rice and broccoli florets bowl bases. Guests choose the base [quinoa, cauliflower rice, broccoli florets, tater tots, or lettuce mix] and sauce and can add protein [beef, meatballs, ham, pepperoni, pork, chicken, short rib or bacon], cheese and vegetables to the base for an additional cost. Grilled cheese sandwich platters are available upon request.
